The BodyHoliday is one of those hotels that I often hear people talking about, along with clients who love it, I think because of the uniqueness that it offers. It has been a pioneering concept in the hospitality industry since opening over 30 years ago, long before the wellness industry took off and the days prior to having a spa in your hotel was standard.
Everyone is eager to look after themselves a little better with it being important for many to include doing so within their holiday.
BodyHoliday is the luxury wellness all-inclusive holiday resort for rejuvenating your body and mind. The concept is based on four pillars: relaxation, restorative beauty, exercise and diet, each stylishly catered for - and you choose to do as much or as little as you like.
Situated on the northwest tip of the beautiful Caribbean island of St Lucia, the resort sits directly on Cariblue’s crescent beach, surrounded by 32 acres of lush tropical gardens, a short drive from the George FL Charles airport and ninety minutes from Hewanorra international airport.
Whatever way you design it, BodyHoliday can be a hive of activity or a haven of peace, serenity and detoxing, especially digitally.
"Give us your body for a week and we’ll give you back your mind" sounds an enticing proposition to consider in our increasingly busy lives.
Although dedicated to well-being, there are any number of ways to soothe the senses and restore the spirit.
The predominantly all-inclusive resort not only provides spa and fitness facilities, a massive range of treatments, therapeutic cares, classes, adventure programmes, sport and expertise beyond that of a regular hotel, but is also a great beach holiday, supported by luxurious rooms and delicious cuisine.
The unique concept includes activities and a full fitness programme of your choosing and a customised spa treatment is included every day within your room rate.
It’s not all hard work though.
After a fabulous day of play that may include a morning hike, exercise classes, tennis, sailing, water skiing, beach or pool volleyball, scuba diving, snorkelling, golf or a workout in the gym with your personal trainer, a sundowner cocktail is well-deserved.
Food & Drink
Great food is also important at the BodyHoliday with an equally impressive cast of restaurant options:
Cariblue
The Cariblue overlooks the beach it is named after and the Caribbean Sea. The lunch buffet theme changes daily and an à la carte dinner is offered six evenings per week. Wednesday evenings feature a sumptuous West Indian buffet with a steel band providing musical entertainment.
ITAL
Overlooking Coubaril Valley, the ITAL is an incredible new farm-to-table dining experience inspired by the on-site organic farm. The result is a spectacular vegan feast, featuring fresh and wholesome ingredients, sweeping West Indian views and an unforgettable meal.
Pavilion Grill
The Pavilion Grill is a more casual dining alternative, incorporating a buffet, grill and pizza oven in one location serving primarily Mediterranean cuisine, including pizzas, calzones, flatbreads, grilled foods and fish.
The Deli
The Deli is a daytime choice that provides lighter options and specialises in gourmet sandwiches, specialty salads, fresh fruit, vegetable juices and smoothies.
Cariblue Windows
Cariblue Windows is a cosy, chic and stylish evening restaurant where a delicious tasting menu can be enjoyed along with the option to sit and observe the kitchen create your dish at the live action station seating or enjoy the view at the banquet tables along the windows.
Tao
Tao is a AAA 3 diamond award-winning restaurant offering a fusion of east and west cuisine and has been included in Condé Nast Traveller’s list of the '60 Hottest Tables'.
The Wine Salon
The Wine Salon is a temperature-controlled walk-in cellar serviced by a sommelier and showcases BodyHoliday’s commitment to wine along with a very special wine flight program to introduce guests to the extensive collection.
The Piano Bar
The air-conditioned Piano Bar is a relaxing nightspot beautifully decorated with cane furnishings and antique pieces which stays open until the last guest retires.
A selection of room types and suites are available, all furnished with contemporary natural bathrooms and fully air conditioned.

During the pandemic period, they have even created online content, including cooking demonstrations, meditation sessions, breathing workshops and exercise classes designed to improve personal wellbeing whilst self-isolating.
